BLACK FRIDAY SALE
Sainted Santa's
Urgent urgings
Seeping sappy
Listless luster
Shaping shoppers'
Lustless bluster,
"Buy another!"
Low commotion
By another
Loco motion
Milling mobs in
Millions bogged in
Mauling malls in
Black Friday missions
Of White Christmas visions
I write poems to pass the time, and sometimes it turns out well. Updates most weeks, usually on Tuesday. 2011 was a year for narrative works, generally using standard poetic tools. 2012 will be focused on homophonic and backwards/forwards pieces.

From Dusk to Dawn
metered haiku.
From Dusk to Dawn
Day's tenacious plunge
Prolonging wane will surely
Acclimate acclaim
Awe inhabits this
Collective recollection
Slyly slinking by
Melted tinge above
Abstaining from pronouncement
Gleaning quiet gleam
Mute and unrenounced
The moon and I affirming
Hours still as ours
From Dusk to Dawn
Day's tenacious plunge
Prolonging wane will surely
Acclimate acclaim
Awe inhabits this
Collective recollection
Slyly slinking by
Melted tinge above
Abstaining from pronouncement
Gleaning quiet gleam
Mute and unrenounced
The moon and I affirming
Hours still as ours

Mirror in the Bathroom
it's not the best form for everything, but I do think it has a certain elegance to it. backwards-forwards.
Mirror in the Bathroom
Occupied flourescence
Surrounding familiar
Marred mirrors
Reflections questioned,
"Who are you?"
Refracted silence
No answers, no
Silence refracted
You are who?
Questioned reflections
Mirrors marred
Familiar surrounding
Flourescence occupied
Mirror in the Bathroom
Occupied flourescence
Surrounding familiar
Marred mirrors
Reflections questioned,
"Who are you?"
Refracted silence
No answers, no
Silence refracted
You are who?
Questioned reflections
Mirrors marred
Familiar surrounding
Flourescence occupied
